News and speculations of where Hong Kong famous acting couple Tony Leung and Carina Lau
would get married have been flooding the Chinese newspapers and
tabloids in the last few months. First it was the Four Seasons in Hong
Kong, then it was somewhere in Bali, and now it appears that the couple
will hold their wedding next week at the five star Uma Par Hotel in the
lovely country of Bhutan. 

Among the confirmed guests are my love Faye Wong, her actor husband Li Yapeng, famous movie director Wong Kar Wai and Chinese Mainland singer Na Ying.
Since commercial flights to Bhutan are limited, the couple has arranged
two private jets to transport their guests to their wedding. The guests
have been advised to bring their own alcohol since alcohol is in short
supply in that country. I have never heard of such an exclusive and
upscale BYOB party before. The ones that I am invited to usually have
cheapskates bringing box wine.

Somehow I have a strong feeling that these two are getting married
in the backyard of their own home in Hong Kong. The news of all these
different wedding destinations is just an attempt to send the nasty
Hong Kong paparazzi on a wild goose chase.
