Finally someone caught on to the idea of bringing Japanese, Korean and Chinese artists together in one concert. Took them long enough! The concert will be featuring some of the most popular singers from the three nations like Chinese pop duo Yu Quan and trio F.I.R, Japanese Jazz group Ego-Wrappin and Korean songwriter Yi Sung Yol. Maybe Asian American artists will join the band wagon and it’ll really be the ultimate Asian concert.

They’re calling it “Asian Music Zone” and hope to develop the brand into an annual music carnival. The concert will be held in Shanghai on September 7th at the Shanghai Grand Stage. Tickets will go on sale soon ranging from 180 to 1,280 yuan (US $26 - $187).

This is the first time the three nations are working together on something! Such a surprise since Japan and Korea hate each other and China just dubbed Korea as one of its most hated bordered country over Japan. Hopefully the concert will become a hit and be featured in the states. Wishful thinking I know but I can dream right?
