The night was filled with funny stories like that. There’s talks about a movie being made about this. I find that hilarious.

I work here.

DJD...you totally rocked!  And you *saved the show* by stepping in when we all realized that the B-Boys didn’t have their own DJ with them...thanks for being awesome!

OMG Dj Delinger is on Ningin. :O How awesome is that! Haha

You had everyone talking about how great you were. Thanks for letting me take your picture. smile

Yeah, 3 members of Jabbawockeez showed up towards the end to say some words on stage to support our cause, then stayed and did a meet-and-greet/autograph session for 30 minutes after the performance.  They were really great!  Funny thing: they called and said they were on the way, so we told Miss Info “10 minutes” to give her a heads up on when she should introduce them.  Little did we know that their driver couldn’t find the theater, so he was driving around forever...finally, one of the event staff had to run out and find them...got them, brought them backstage with literally seconds to go before Miss Info introduced them to the audience...!

Also a nice suprise… Dominique, a b-boy from last season’s “So You Think You Can Dance” show was with the Jabbas hanging out during the autograph session.  But after I introduced myself to him and told him I was a fan, he called me “sir”...I felt so old...lol!

Wow, lol that’s funny about the Jabbawockeezz. And even more awesome because none of us in the crowd even knew how crazy it was behind the scenes before they came out. (well at least I didn’t lol)

And I thought I saw Dominique on the side. That’s cool that he came. =)

I’d watch it. Especially if it’s made by one of the FilmLab crews ^___________^ w00t!

Thanks!

Hey, I’ve enjoyed reading the comments. Glad the event went so well! I know you guys worked so hard on it. It’s like I told Hoc--I was with you in spirit. Sometimes the unplanned elements are the most exciting.

Haha Oo Another one. smile

Can’t wait for the photos Lan. smile

You’re so weak. haha How heavy was your camera?

Yeah, sorry about not recognizing you, Lan! :-( Scary thing was that it was just the beginning of the day, and I was already exhausted from all the activity in the week leading up to the event.  That, combined with having just met MOCA’s big team of volunteers, I was definitely in a state of confusion....!
