Anime VS Manga



Many manga make it over to anime. Some of the results are good, some bad, some just plain average.

Hmmm.  Several years ago, I preferred the anime over mangas.  Now, I’ve become more of a manga fan.  Really, it’s just depend on the work.  For an example, I love Vision of Escaflowne the anime, but I don’t think I’d enjoy the manga since it’s really different from its anime counterpart.  Another example: Wolf’s Rain.  The manga was just WTF and only two volumes.  The anime was much more in-depth and complicated, but more fulfilling.  XD

I have yet to come upon a series where the manga’s better than the anime.  Hm.  I guess the only one that comes into my head is Fake.  Of course that one is only like a couple episodes of OVA, not a full series, but that’s all they did, so the manga series is better because it’s complete.  But somehow I don’t know if that’s counted or not.

Anime is better imo but manga doesn’t have fillers!

Usually if I like the Manga I will love the Anime. But not its not always vice versa. However i cannot take reading a monthly series. I am too impatient. Like im waiting for the next installment of NANA and im just about to burst.

yeah I hate the damn fillers… but seeing Manga in action definitely heightens the experience…

Mangas are better in my opinion because the artwork is better. While anime has live action, they’re not always great and sometimes they took forever to continue the story.

The fillers aren’t always that bad.

I guess it’s a good thing most animes start as mangas so people have a choice.

Reading isn’t as fun as watching.

Agreed. Why read the book when you can watch the movie?

The movie doesn’t always have all the details.

Reading is a lot faster than watching, for me at least.
I like watching for the opening and ending songs.

I get most of my music from anime.

Sometimes I like reading better just because you can do it wherever you go.
