5 days of Kimchi? Perhaps next Chuseok…

I work here.

I like kimchi with eggs and rice. I’ve put it in soup as well. Ooo one time I went to a Korean fish market and they had this article on the wall about the bird flu virus that ripped through Asia at the time. And this scientist gave 13 chickens a few drops of kimchi juice that had the virus. 11 out of 13 chickens were cured of the bird flu virus.

Kimchi has lots of health benefits to it as well.

I love kimchi. =9 LOL @ kimchi curing bird flu. If I could I’d eat it all day long. except of course I’d smell, but eh, who cares.

LET’S DO THE FORK IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL! LET’S DO THE FORK IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL! DING DING DING DA-DING DING DING DING DING!

KIMCHI! I love it, especially the radish.

This might be a whole nother discussion, but did you hear about how the Korean government wants for Korean celebrities to talk K up because it’s in “decline” or something?

Discuss!

according to my korean friend, spicy kimchi is a top ten anti-cancer food. i guess it kills cancer cells when you eat it because it’s so hot.

Makes sense to me since those spicy kimchi practically burns my mouth at times.

When I was little I would always insist on running kimchi under water before I ate it. It was too spicy for me. >_> Although I did love kimchi burgers.

Is there some fast food chain that serves Kimchi on their menu in Korea?

Lotte actually has their own fast food chain in Korea. They had kimchi burgers if that counts. Not sure if they have it as a separate item.

Lol kimchi burgers. I can’t imagine what that would tase like. Is there no meat?

It’s just like a burger with kimchi on it. Although sometimes the kimchi is fried.

Haha! Who knew the smell of Kimchi would make such a great topic?
I make a mean-ass kimchi btw…
And Kimchi for topping on pizza is really good.

The smell actually develops during the fermentation process…
If you eat the raw kimchi, there is usually less smell associated with that… But I love smelly kimchi and the ‘sour?’ taste it brings… LOL

I think I had Kimchi pizza once.  Not bad.  :3 But it was cooked, so the smell and the sourness went away!
