Even when it does air, it’ll be awhile before it’s dubbed for us.

Does anyone know the story line? Or do they plan to pick it up where they left off. The manga goes further.

Currently it is expected to be aired in 2009. Although I’m a bit confused on what they will do in terms of story. The first season defected from the manga and wrapped itself up. Then they completely ended any chance of a sequel with the movie. So unless we’re going to follow Al and Ed through Nazi Germany again, I guess they’ll pretend the second half of the first season never happened and follow the manga.

I never read the manga. I didn’t know they messed up.

They completely went off track. The manga is still going, things are pretty intense right now. You should read it, it’s better than the anime.
