The End of Toonami



For all of those who remember Toonami for what it was, something that provided us with Anime content for our growing desires. For those who can remember the great shows aired there such as Gundam Wing, DBZ, Outlaw Star....

I thought they replaced Toonami with Adult Swim?

They were unofficially replaced by Adult Swim and moved to Saturday Midnight schedule.

My sentiments exactly!

Toonami is pretty much gone. Adult Swim has very different shows than Toonami had for a good part of its schedule. It literally is much more adult oriented than Toonami.

They’re not very different other than the shows. It’s like the fansubs, they all sub in english they just have minor differences.

American dubs aren’t that great anyways.

Was Trigun ever on American TV?

I somehow remember it but I think I might be confused with Trigun.

Didn’t iAtv just sign with some anime channel?

Tokyopop? Yeah a few months ago.
