Marking oneself with a permanent tattoo is a decision that not many “sober people” take lightly. There are some ground rules that even those with tattoo-friendly lifestyles follow and the basic guideline is about choosing wisely when it comes to this form of self expression. With so much to choose from and many regrets to experience if it goes wrong is a good reason to the time to Know your design. Picking a Dragon or Tiger because just because it’s cool is no fly by night option. Your design will still be there in the morning, and every morning thereafter, so you have to grin and bare it if your tiger came out like Tigger instead.  Be aware of your artists other clients. Are they happy with their products? Did the artist over touch up appointment? Nothing is worse than a smudgey or faded tattoo.

Tattoo Taboo… the big No No of getting someone elses name tattoo’ed on your body. Maybe your highschool sweetheart, or your first love next to your heart for ever more is nice in theory but we always hear that the practice is not the wisest. What if the person breaks up with you? Can we learn anything from Angelina’s “BillyBob" while now she is married to Brad?

Oh yeah I read about this.

I never liked tattoos.

I feel bad when this happens to people but it’s their fault for not verifying.

Just get a friend.

The saddest part is the art student with the daisho tatoo is a friend of a friend LOL! lol

Or just not get a tattoo.

Does anyone have any tattoos?

I personally don’t like them. Who wants to be 80 with a tramp-stamp on their back? Because I was taking Chinese lessons one of my cousins wanted me to write something for her that was very difficult to translate. I wasn’t gonna do the design because I didn’t want to mess up the translation. Good think I didn’t. I don’t want to be linked to a bad tattoo

I couldn’t do that. I can’t read it so why get it? If I were to get a tattoo, at least let me know what it says. I don’t trust other people to tell me what it says.
Plus, I don’t want a tattoo. It looks like it hurts… A lot. Plus, it’s permanent.

Most people get tattoos when drunk.

And no I don’t have any.

I use to want a tattoo...but then i realized I didn’t want to sit in a chair for hours with a needle stabbing me.

I used to want a tattoo of a fairy dipping her toes in water. Then I wanted a cross. Now im just like.. Pure skin is cool too.

I have no tattoos.

Mia: if I had one it would probably be a cute dragon on top of a flower. Dragon, since it’s my Asian zodiac.
