From the Ningin blog, by ChrisNguyen on 02/21/2010 4:00pm (original link)

Men’s Figure Skating competition happened last Tuesday night and what a competition it was! The men competed hard and strong.  After the short program, Pleshenko of Russia was leading the way with 90.85 points.  Not far behind was USA’s Evan Lysacekand and Japan’s Daisuke Takahashicame. Lysacek was just .55 points behind Plushenko with Takahashi another .05 back going into Thursday night’s free skate.  Patrick Chan, representing Canada was still in the loop.

I watched it. They were all good smile

Okay. I thought Daisuke should’ve gotten a higher score. For one, he was flawless except for his fall at the beginning with the Quad. He got no points for even attempting the Quad!!!!
Anyway, as I am an Olympic geek, I was watching it and two former top skaters said that Evan should have been third with Daisuke second and Plushenko first. I’m just saying, Daisuke needed some lovin’.
P.S. Johnny should have gotten a better score too!

Johnny was seriously underscored. D;
I was actually rooting for him to get bronze, because that was one of the most emotionally charged performances I’ve seen for a while. I have nothing against Daisuke (his short program was amazingly epic) but I felt like he let his free skate kind of...get away from him after missing that quad.
