Interview with Far East Movement

From the Alvin Lin blog, by Alvin Lin on 2008-04-21 05:56 PM (original link)

int070620_fem.jpg Last week I had a phone and email interview with the members of the Far East Movement (FM), whose songs have gotten radio play on the West Coast, and in movies like ‘Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’, and ‘Finishing the Game’.  They have a great sound and are starting to get some mainstream attention from TV channels like MTV.  Below is Part I of our interview.

Here is link to their Myspace where you can check out some of their songs.

Here is a link to their own website.

If you want to purchase their first album ‘Folk Music’, you can find it here.

that’s really cool how they met and stuck with it. they’ve come so far!

Nice, awesome piece Alvin!

They’re pretty talented. I like how they’re “striving to be an Asian American Brand.” That would be cool…

They have an interesting style of music & clothing! Didn’t know there were doing music for the Fast and the Furious, that’s really cool.

It’s good to see Asian Americans working together like this.

so many asian artists are on the west coast. they need to spread that all over. smile

They definitely have an interesting style. I’ll be interested in reading more articles like this on the blog, so keep them coming!

i really like the bg in their pic. everyone should add them on myspace. hehe
