Ahahahaha xD
I guess it’s just a matter of familiarity/passion on the topic; guess pants are his passion
When I was teaching English, my students’ [a couple of Korean high schoolers] liked to talk about their ideal boyfriend the most.
Someone really loves pants. o.o lol
I don’t see anything wrong with posting this. It just like when people take pictures of signage with bad english.
Really? I wish I had taught someone closer to my age. The kids I got were usually brats. Or at least the boys.
It really depends on who you teach… I just privately tutored my dad’s ping pong partner’s daughter and her friend for their extra practice. So I was a cheap service making about $100 a Sunday >_>; Hahah. If you teach at a university or a very providing student… you can make a lot. My friend is teaching at an academy for the summer and I think she’s going to make $2000+ for a couple months.
to Sakura: Probably, but even though we’re Asian or even half-Korean, to them it was apparent that we’re primarily American so at least they’re learning English from native speakers
No way! 2k won or usd? I would hate to teach Korea little kids though. I use to babysit my mom friend’s kids and I nearly killed myself. They’re so crazy and mean and spoiled. I honestly would have slapped all of them if they weren’t paying me.
Oh I’m talking about Jesse, Lan. Actually Thomas started a job too I think.
Anyways, I meant $2,000 USD lol She told me something like 2mill won or something and i was like O___o holy crap. But she just administers exams and grades homework so she doesn’t seem to have it so bad… cept for her working hours til 10pm.
Figures Jesse. Shes a white blonde. ; _ ;
I wouldn’t mind working in her place even if its till 10pm.
Uh, probably to teach full-time as a professor or something at an academy. Our friends are like… teacher’s assistants I suppose doing grunt work hahaha. As long as the students or their parents find you suitable, we didn’t have to for private tutoring :X
Haha it really depends. I think the hardest part is actually finding a job. The high schoolers usually had connections or were half-korean/bilingual which made things easier
OMG 2k is where it’s at! I love the pants though! ABSOLUTE GOLD!!!! That guy would be funny no matter what language! And yeah, white and blonde really helps, even if you’re from Israel or South Africa and your English is poopy poopy poop.
Sometimes you need degrees like “any BA”, some places only require you to be a native English Speaker. That’s where the whiteness comes in. Coz obviously if you’re Asian, you’re not native -_- (I’m just slightly bitter, ignore me!)
Some places if you’re lucky, they provide curriculum. Others, especially if you’re doing private tutoring (even on the side) you might have to make up your own. There’s lots of resources online for ESOL teachers though.
Haha or if you’re me, the “darkness” comes in
Cuz then I’m obviously not… Korean at least.
Yea… I had to make up my own curriculum >_>; But I had access to English books; my dad had to teach English to Koreans using both when HE was studying Korean for the Army. /confused ...But sometimes I’d get ideas for verbal exercises or worksheets online.
Hahahah! I love pants too.
