autoSubmit 4 days agoOn August 7th, Asagaya Tokyo held its annual Tanabata festival. Tanabata means "Evening of the seventh" and is one of the Japanese star festivals. Pingmag was there to capture all of the great floats that filled the streets.
The Autumn Moon Festival isn’t nearly this interesting. All we do is light candles and walk around the temple.
You walk around with a candle and make wishes I think. I dont really remember since it’s been awhile but I remember the candle!
I thought you guys were talking abotu another festival but then I read the thread and it sounded a lot like the lantern festival. haha Turns out they’re the same!
