I always have all my white friends end up cheating off my answers in all my English classes.
lol Typical. It’s one of the oldest educational stereotypes: Asian students are generally better performers across all school subjects not just English.
The main point is that Asian families put education on a much higher pedestal than white families and enforce that view by teaching their kids at home and telling them that in order to grab their dreams they need the education. White families are much more about getting decent jobs and being independent. There is no real home schooling done and the kids are left to peers and other people besides their parents.
By the way, I was good friends with a few Chinese students back in junior high and the only thing they did extremely well in was art. Everything else was average or below. Their only passions were Dungeons & Dragons and drawing creatures for Dungeons & Dragons.
Dude I read korean (yes hanguel) better than English for sure! My grammar and spelling are atrocious! I so need a editor! lol Takara can vouche I AIM his butt all the time and ask him how to spell certain words. LOL
When people ask me for answers I purposely give them the wrong ones. <3
lol A woman after my own heart. I had Earth Science in high school and was one of the honors students in it. One guy came to me one day and threatened me to get me to hand him the answers during the test. I agreed then sat there writing down answers after I finished my test looking at my paper as I wrote them down. I gave him the signal to stretch his hand out for the folded up answers and he started to reach across. I waited for the teacher to just ever so little glance around and he spotted us passing the answers. The teacher came over and grabbed the paper then went back to his desk and said that we both got Fs for cheating. I said nicely loud: “I’m sorry but I don’t think i got an F. You may want to check the answers I wrote on there.” The teacher pulled out the answer key and checked through then looked at the other guy: “Next time you decide to get answers from someone, make sure you choose someone dumber than Jason.” The whole class was laughing for a while.
Nice! Did he threaten you afterwards?
He was too embarrassed to do anything after that. There were too many people who knew abut it after. Amazing how fast word of mouth is in high school. Saying no is a good idea but not as fun as screwing someone over and teaching them a fun lesson.
This is where zinger and SureWin find out that sweetpea is actually their boss and they’ve been caught in a lie sting! mwahahahaha!
Brings back Russell Peter’s joke…
“Your friend and I!”
