Are they trying to retraumatize everyone? An earthquake just happened, you’re suppose to build stronger buildings…

Not only have they wasted resources building that school, they’ve lost even more lives.

Well they’re building a lot of other stuff and trying to do it asap. You can’t really blame them.

They should have at least been more careful with the schools. So many people already lost their children.

Most of their resources probably went to the Olympics.

They finished building awhile ago though.

I feel so sorry for the familes.

Same here, especially after looking at that photo.

Let’s put a small note into this:

Bird’s Nest- Able to withstand 80,000+ people.
Schools- Barely able to withstand a few 100 students, teachers, and staff.

goomba isn’t far from the truth probably. That’s why I’m happy New York didn’t get the Olympics. Our resources would’ve been to make stadiums we really don’t need when our infastructure isn’t up to code to begin with.

Looking at any of the earthquake photos is sad.

New York has enough people as it is.
